At Maudsland Dental Care, your family comes first and therefore we want to make dental care accessible and affordable for today’s families.
Private health insurance funds offer a range of extras policies which differ in the amount of cover and rebates payable on dental treatment, aiming to provide affordable dental care to policyholders. Here at Maudsland Dental Care, we accept all health funds and are fortunate to be a preferred provider for a network of private health funds including:
All other health funds accepted
If you are a member of any of the above health funds, you will receive a larger portion of rebate back on dental treatment which means less out of pocket expense to you. You may also qualify for free preventative care subject to the terms and conditions of your health fund.
On-site Hicaps Facilities
Contact us to reserve an appointment
We value your time and therefore have Hicaps facilities available on site to allow for on the spot electronic claims submissions. This means that you don’t need to visit your health fund and stand in long queues to claim your rebate back.
To take full advantage of your dental cover, please contact to your private health care provider for full terms and conditions of your individual health fund policy.
Patient Payment Plans
We have also partnered with Humm to offer interest-free payment plans with flexible terms to give you and you loved ones convenient access to dental care.
Please contact our friendly staff for more information on 07 5580 0621.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a federal government initiative that aims to provide basic access to dental services for eligible children between the ages of 2 to 17 years of age. If you are eligible for CDBS, simply bring in your Medicare card to your visit so that we can lodge a claim on your behalf with no out of pocket expense for your child’s treatment. For more details, feel free to contact us on 07 5580 0621 or visit https://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/medicare/child-dental-benefits-schedule.
Accessing your Super to cover dental costs
In Australia, Compassionate Release of Super lets you tap into your retirement savings early for urgent dental care – but there are specific rules. You’ll need to prove you’re in serious dental pain and that you’ll spend the money only on approved treatment.
First things first, book an appointment with your dentist. If the cost of treatment makes you wince, don’t worry! Your dentist will chat with you about options, like accessing your Super early. They’ll even sort out the paperwork for you.
Curious about how it all works? Give us a call! We’ve been there for heaps of Aussies, making dental care hassle-free and affordable.
